Technology is advancing at an extraordinary speed. Advances in one field quickly influence others, driving step-change innovation and transformation across society.
Rigaku supports this progress through its expertise in advanced X-ray technologies.
Building on areas where we have long demonstrated our strengths in physical and materials science, we are increasingly engaged in research and development that contributes to a more sustainable society. As core analytical tools for advanced materials science, our X-ray technologies are growing in importance each day, supporting both technological breakthroughs and their practical implementation in society.
Rigaku’s technologies are also widely applied in process control and in the development and manufacturing of advanced semiconductors. In this field, our X-ray-based measurement technologies are establishing a clear position as essential to the evolution of state-of-the-art AI semiconductors, with further growth expected in the near future.
Rigaku provides critical support to a broad base of innovations that are shaping the future. Our activities span cutting-edge areas including the development and production of advanced semiconductor devices that enable AI and other advanced information technologies; power electronic devices that support data centers and EVs; battery technologies and advanced and functional materials; and gene and protein analysis, an area of the life sciences where progress continues to accelerate.
In 2026, Rigaku marks the 75th anniversary of its founding.
Following our listing on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2024, we see this milestone not as a conclusion, but as the beginning of a new phase of growth and innovation.
