Please tell us about the founding of your company.
Rigaku Corporation, the main operating company of the Rigaku Group, was established in December 1951 in Yurakucho, Chiyoda City, Tokyo as Rigaku Electric Corporation, as a manufacturer and vendor of domestically produced X-ray equipment. In December 2020, Atom Investment, L.P. established Atom Holdings Corporation (now Rigaku Holdings Corporation) in Marunouchi, Chiyoda City, Tokyo, for the purpose of acquiring Rigaku Corporation. In March 2021, ATOM Holdings acquired a majority stake in Rigaku Corporation, changing its name to Rigaku Holdings Corporation, and in April of the same year, the Company made Rigaku Corporation its wholly owned subsidiary through a share exchange. The Company is listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange as of October 25, 2024.

When do you disclose your financial results?
Our fiscal year ends on December 31 and we announce our financial results in February. Please refer to IR Calendar for the quarterly announcement of financial results.
Where can I check past performance?

When do you distribute dividends?
The year-end dividend is distributed on December 31 and the interim dividend is distributed on June 30.
How many shares are in a trading unit*?
100 shares. *Shares may only be traded in blocks of shares called trading units. Trading of shares in amounts smaller than one trading unit is not permitted.
What are the procedures for transfer of shareholdings, change of address, etc.?

When is the general meeting of shareholders held?
The annual general meeting of shareholders is held in late March each year. The date, time and place of the meeting is announced in early March to shareholders registered as of December 31 of the previous calendar year.
How can I exercise my voting rights at a general meeting of shareholders?
We send a notice of convocation of a general meeting of shareholders and a voting form to shareholders registered in our shareholders’ register as of the end of the record date for the general meeting of shareholders (as of December 31 in the case of an ordinary general meeting of shareholders). Voting rights may be exercised by any of the following methods.
